Default Unlocking skills question...

I have 2 rangers - one in Factions, one in Nightfall. I'd like the ranger in Nightfall to have Ritualist as a secondary profession.

If I make my Factions ranger a R/Rt and I buy Ritualist skills, will those skills then become available somehow to my Nightfall ranger?

I'd like to get Splinter Weapon, Nightmare Weapon and Flesh of my Flesh for my Nightfall ranger.

Thank you.

No, the unlocked skills will be available for a new PvP charrie or heroes, but not for another PvE char. You can get the skills for your PvE NF ranger by buying rit tomes though

All those skills you listed are from the Factions Campaign. When you unlock a skill, all your heroes will have access to it, as well as all Skill Trainers of that campaign will have it for other characters.

Your nightfall ranger cannot pick Ritualist as his/her secondary yet, since the focus of Nightfall professions are the 6 core and Dervish and Paragon. But, there is a quest called Hunted! that you must complete in order to change your secondary (Nightfall characters only). Once you have done this quest, you can go to the Great Temple of Balthazar and find the profession changer. Once you are able to access this, you should have been able to have the access to go to Factions. If not, check in the mission place CONSULATE DOCKS. The quest will bring you to Cantha's main city, and then you can learn the skills right there.

Or if you have unlocked those skills, buy a Ritualist Tome and unlock the skills.

~Make sure that you actually get far enough to Change your profession before doing any of this.~

Why do you have 2 rangers? Seems redundant.

Actually, it sort of sounds like he doesn't know that his Nightfall ranger can just go to Cantha and buy the skills. But, i dunno...

I haven't played in several months. Decided to start a new toon and picked my favorite class - ranger.

I have already done hunted! and changed my secondary profession to ritualist.

I was looking for a way to learn those rit skills without traveling to the Factions lands. But if I must travel, I will.

Thanks all.

You can get ritualist tomes from other players and use them if you already unlocked the skills. Otherwise, you must travel.
